Shut up, Muralimohan tells Tammareddy

Tuesday, April 20, 2010
Movie Arts Association president and senior actor Murali Mohan on Monday came down heavily on producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja for making derogatory comments against Telugu film heroes.

Bharadwaja, in an interview to a Telugu channel, reiterated that there were no actors with guts in Telugu film industry and those who were entering the industry were thriving not because of their acting potential but because of the acting background of their families.

“Who are you in the film industry? Are you not here because you are the son of famous producer Tammareddy Krishna Murthy? Shut up and don’t make such comments against the actors hereafter,” Muralimohan told Bharadwaja.

He said Bharadwaja had no moral right to comment on the industry. “There is a tremendous talent and potential in the Telugu film industry,” he pointed out.
