Allu Aravind back in action for money!

Film producer and Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi’s brother in law Allu Aravind seems to be back in action in the party.

After lying low in the party for the last one year, that is after the electoral debacle, Aravind was more actively seen in the recent state executive committee meeting of the PRP held at Film Nagar Club. Most of the time, Chiranjeevi and Aravind were found in serious confabulations. And it was Aravind’s muscle men, who were deployed at the entrance and clashed with the Praja Telangana Party activists (the erstwhile PRP workers from Telangana). He even started threatening the critics of Chiranjeevi with dire consequences.

Now, what could be the reason for Aravind to stage a comeback in the PRP? Reason no. 1 is that the party is starved of funds and Chiranjeevi badly needs Aravind’s help to mobilise resources. So, threatenings and blackmailings are back. Secondly, Aravind is also trying for Rajya Sabha ticket, if the Congress cooperates. Even if that does not happen, Aravind can bargain for a big amount from the Congress party in barter of the PRP votes in the Rajya Sabha elections.
