Lately, it is being heard that the censor board has been quite accommodative wherever required for the films to pass without a cut but then there are times when the content gets too controversial and they put their iron foot down. Right now, the same could happen with the new film ‘Young India’.
Sources reveal that the censor board is quite serious about one of the songs in the film. The number goes ‘Kutha kuthaa kuthaa….’ and the lyrics are said to be objectionable. It is heard that the board members are waiting for the film to reach them for certification.
It is heard that they would be rejecting the song during censor as they find it to be too nasty. The song was rendered by Malathi while the lyrics were penned by Sahithi. Many say that if the song gets cut then it must be director Dasari Narayana Rao who must be held responsible and not anyone else. So it is time for Keeravani to prepare an alternative version of lyrics and keep the record ready once censor board objects the lyrics.
