Reel Buzz: Keeravani’s Satire On Dil Raju

The cine industry is one place where lighter vein satire is part and participle. But then, there are different ways and forms of satire. One person who knows how to put things in the subtle manner is the music maker M M Keeravani. He is reserved with words but delivers few effective satires.

Apparently, he had his own style of statement during ‘Magadheera’ audio release function for Allu Aravind regarding remuneration. This time, some of them felt that he had picked on Dil Raju. This happened during the audio release function of the film ‘Vedam’ where Dil Raju was a special invitee.

Speaking on the dais, he said “usually producers try to negotiate in terms of remuneration. While some of them give wholeheartedly, some tend to bargain quoting brand name, recognition etc. interestingly, Vedam producers gave more”. Then he turned towards Dil Raju and said “emandi Dil Raju garu, ilanti vallu kooda untaara?”. Those who were present tried to read between the lines. Keeravani is being hailed for his intellectual satire and media is eager to hear him speak at all times. Starting from a music director to a singer and now an orator, it has been quite a journey for him.
