Sekhar Kammula’s Selfishness In Discussion

Being a part of the cine circuit, any individual has got certain norms. The norms are more when it is a director. However, Sekhar Kammula seems to be one man oblivious of all that. The system says that it is not jus about taking movies and going along, there are responsibilities as a director.

Recently, the film ‘Prasthanam’ came up and all spoke about it expressing their views and opinions. However, Kammula didn’t bother much to talk about it and kept his distance from giving any opinions or sharing his thoughts. Some were justifying that it is not his duty but there were those who reminded that it was a matter of courtesy and not duty.

Some of the cine folks have been thinking about it and few other issues. They are now saying that Kammula seems to be quite a selfish person who comes out to promote his movies and talk about his stuff but does nothing else either for the betterment of the industry or its members.
