Venkatesh: 'Rumours are just that — rumours'

Actor Venkatesh, after a small vacation in Kodaikanal, is all set to leave for Vijayanagaram where he is to shoot in an ancient, eerie palace for his upcoming film with Anushka.

The film, a sequel to the superhit Chandramukhi and a remake of the Kannada Aptharakshaka, is his “first supernatural film” in which he will be essaying the role of “a psychologist”.

There were rumours that Rajinikanth performed a special yagna to ward off evil effects following the deaths of actress Soundarya and actor Vishnuvardhan. While Soundarya and Vishnuvardhan were part of the Kannada project, Rajini was part of the Tamil remake. So, ask Venkatesh if he has had any second thoughts about accepting this project, Venky says,“Rumours are just that — rumours. It depends on what you want to believe!”
