Anything and everything that Ram Gopal Varma does tends to attract attention and an element of sensation as well. Right now, his interest seems to be in the current affairs and given the list of movies that he came up with recently, the belief gets stronger.

His ongoing project Rakta Charitra is about the faction wars, his next ‘Sex and the Swamy is almost on the lines of Nityananda’s sex games, his last offering ‘Rann’ was about the manipulation of the electronic media so that way, he has been going through the current affairs strongly and coming up with movies.

While the odd one out happens to be his horror treat ‘Aavaham’ which is quite seasonal. Ramu wants to ensure that every now and then the Indian audience is subjected to some sleepless nights but otherwise most of the time he deals with realistic and current affair subjects.
