Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the finest actors from the younger generation today. His debut film Saawariya didn’t sizzle at the box office but that didn’t stop this actor from getting noticed. The success of Wake up Sid, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Ajab prem Ki Ghajab Kahani in fact helped him the earn the tag ‘next best thing’ in Bollywood. Many even compared him to Shah Rukh Khan saying, “If anyone has the potential to get into the shoes of SRK, it is Ranbir.”
Reacting to him being touted as the next SRK, Ranbir said, “It is an honour to be compared to SRK but frankly speaking I hate to be known as the ‘Next best thing’. I feel one is either best now or never. I don’t believe in this term next best thing. I feel it’s really stupid when media calls me that.”
