Comedian moves the court

Vadivelu has filed a defamatory case against his co-star Singamuthu. The actor was present at Saidapet Court along with his advocate to file the petition. It may be recalled that Vadivelu has sent a legal notice to Singamuthu a few weeks ago seeking an apology failing which he will be sued for a compensation amounting to Rs. 20 crores.

The tiff between Vadivelu and Singamuthu began with the former alleging that the latter cheated him to the tune of Rs. 7 crore in land dealing. Singamuthu in retaliation had allegedly made some defamatory statements against Vadivelu which paved way for this petition.
