'Family Business' With Ram Charan

Tuesday, February 23, 2010
The success story of megastar Chiranjeevi or the Geetha Arts, owned by his brother in law Allu Aravind is known to one and all. But did you know that the banner and the family follows a very crafty business schedule that help them keep on the profit table most of the times.

For instance, initially, as it is very expensive to deal with heavy publicity for Ram Charan’s debut, Chiru and Aravind made the film ‘Chiruta’ produce on Vyjayanti banner. Ramcharan Teja thus made his debut with Ashwini Dutt and managed to get recognition. It had become very easy to sell his second film. Hence immediately, after having developed some backing with Chiruta, he did the second film Magadheera with Allu Aravind. The film became a historical hit and now his next film will definitely be sold out at whopping price. Knowing this, the third one is being made under the banner of Anjana Productions.

The idea is to cash in on the commercial value of ‘Magadheera’ and that’s why the family member Nagababu is brought in for the tentatively titled ‘Orange’. If this works then they would go in for a new venture on Geeta Arts but otherwise a new bakara will be searched and entrusted to produce the project.

Those who have associated with megastar Chiranjeevi say that this is the culture of Chiru family and that’s one reason why they tend to run on profits at all times. They never let the assured profits go out from their family pockets. For now, Charan is busy with the shooting of his new movie and let us see how this one goes.
