LONDON: British singer Cheryl Cole, whose husband, football star Ashley Cole, has been accused of sending explicit text messages to other women, says her marriage is still "worth fighting for".
The "Girls Aloud" singer gave an interview shortly before the revelations in which she admitted the couple have had problems, but refused to give up on their union, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"If it’s worth fighting for, then fight. And in the case of me and my husband, it’s worth it," she said.
"Let’s just say that during the first six to 12 months everything is always great. You’re totally in love and everything works by itself. Then, at some point, everyday life takes over again. I think that’s normal," Cole added.(IANS)
