There was a time when a particular formula and image fitted for the heroes of yesteryears and that ran well at the box office. However, the rules of the game have changed and today’s generation heroes are saying that they are keen on variety than anything else, especially in terms of their roles.

Ramcharan Teja who zapped all as ‘Kalabhairava’ the warrior will be seen in a truly romantic role in his next. NTR jr who is known for his high voltage performances will be seen as the boy next door in ‘Brindavanam’. The fiery Prabhas will be seen as a solitary soul in ‘Ek Niranjan’.

The senior members of the industry say that this is a good sign since audience wants to see characters on the screen that they can relate to. So folks the time has come for larger than life images to move out and some realistic and natural characters to come into the picture. Let us hope this trend works at the box office as well.
