Jr. NTR shoot for his upcoming film ‘Shakti’ has been generating quite a talk in film circles. The film unit first completed shoot at Jaipur. Producer of the film C. Aswhini Dutt earlier told the media people that they are planning to shoot the film at Srinagar, Ladakh, Varanasi, Haridwar etc.Interestingly it isn’t a coincidence that each of these places has a ‘Shakti Peetham’, a temple for Goddess Shakti! Accepted Jaipur doesn’t have one, but Jr.NTR and his team did visit the Pushkar Temple, at Ajmer!
Also writer JK Bharavi who has been associated as one amongst the writers for this film has been known for doing period films like ‘Annamayya’, ‘Pandurangadu’ and ‘Sri Ramadasu’!
Yandmoori Veerendranath has been known for mixing reality with supernatural ever since his sci-fi novels ‘Tulasi Dalam’ and his socio fantasy film ‘Jagadeka Veeru Atiloka Sundari’ was just a proof!
But then there is also a shoot in Egypt and obviously there is no Shakti Peetham there! So we are back to square one.
What is Shakti film about, and what are Jr.NTR, Meher Ramesh, Ashwini Dutt cooking up with famous writers like J.K.Bharavi and Yandamoori Veerendranath? Guess we have a long wait, and it is already getting exciting!
