Story:

A cowboy tale, the story begins with Simhachalam (lawrence) who is facing death punishment on allegation of stealing a precious diamond. However, he gets saved by a group of cowboy and that too for a reason. They want him to act as Simha (Lawrence again) who is a sharp shooter and has been the marshall for their town. He is killed by Nalla Thraachu (nasser) but the cowboy group wants the town people to believe that he is still alive. Simhachalam becomes Simha and enters but will he able to face the tough Nalla Thrachu and his henchman Chirutha (sai kumar) forms the rest of the story.

Artist performances:

Lawrence does his bit and is there in almost every frame but then it is hard for him to score as a lead star. His acting is good but appeal is weak. Padmapriya looks beautiful, Lakshmi Rai looks sexy and Sandhya was sweet but hardly there. Nasser did his bit as required while Sai Kumar looks different as a cowboy. The supporting cast in the form of Ramesh Khanna, Ilavarasu, M S Bhaskar, Vaiyapuri, Manorama, Delhi Ganesh and others contributed effectively and gave the film some credibility.

Plus points:

* cinematography
* locations
* art department
* Dubbing

Minus points:

* weak storyline
* inconsistent comedy
* slow narration
* songs
* background score
* lack of glamour

Analysis:

The film is dubbed from the Tamil movie and as usual, there are traces of 'Tamil Paithyam' in it. With cowboy backdrop, one would expect adventurous action sequences but the film relies more on comedy and though the creativity is good, sometimes it looked silly. If the story had good depth and the pace was built on it, the film would have created a major impact. A lot of money has been spent on it so commercially speaking, recovering it would be very difficult. The B and C centers might like it a bit but reaching a success mark is ruled out.

Verdict: Good presentation, weak content
