Simha going strong; bad days for new films

Saturday, May 8, 2010
Nandamuri Balakrishna made a huge comeback with Simha, which is on its way to become a stupendous hit. The film is running successfully well both in India and abroad. But news isn’t as good for yesterday’s releases like Super Cowboy and Hasini.

Super Cowboy got better treatment than Hasini, in terms of the number of theatres it was released in. Hasini was released only two theatres, and not one of them was a multiplex. But here’s some harsh reality - we hear that only 12 members turned up for the movie Super Cowboy at a famous multiplex in Hyderabad. The multiplex owners had to cancel the show as they had no other option. Also at the morning of show of Hasini in one old theatre there were less than 30 cine lovers!

Theatre owners wait for better businesses, and we hope it is going to be soon.
