Balaiah visit could be Naidu’s ploy: LP

Saturday, March 13, 2010
Two days after the visit of Balakrishna to her residence to sink differences, Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi appears to be suspecting that the visit could be part of the strategy of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu to grab the NTR’s assets.

She expressed this doubt before the media persons in the off-the-record conversation in Tirupati on Friday. When asked whether Balakrishna’s visit to her residence could be a ploy of Chandrababu Naidu, she said: “It might be so. But I am not aware of it.” She, however, said as far as she was concerned, she welcomed Balaiah wholeheartedly. “Individually, he is a good person. I really do not know what is his intention and who is behind his sudden visit to my place,” she said. She reiterated that she would be ready to work for the TDP if Balaiah becomes the party president and CM candidate.

And Lakshmi Parvathi resumed her scathing attack on Naidu saying that he had ruined the party and failed to realize his mistakes even after getting defeated twice. “Naidu had lost his credibility with the masses. The people will never believe him,” she said. So, will the family reunion be a short-term affair?
