The petite beauty Trisha's Bollywood debut flick Khatta Meeta, is saidto be a remake of a popular Malayalam film of 1990's VellanakaludeNadu. Mohanlal and Shobana played the lead roles in the originalversion.While, Akshay Kumar and Trisha are doing the lead roles incurrent version. National Award winning director Priyadarshan isdirecting this film. It is said that Priyadarshan has made some changesto the original script to suit the present day audience.
