Crowds swell for Simha

It was heartening to see womenfolk back at a Balakrishna movie. This correspondent just returned from Imax along with a distributor from Nizam region. The distributor remarked that he has not seen so many women in a Balakrishna movie since Samarasimha Reddy days. The young heroes, the distributor opined “have not mastered the art of delivering minimum guarantee hits yet and above all their remunerations have really touched sky high proportions”. Also many in the trade feel that the fan following of Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh is much more dependable than the younger heroes fan following. For one thing they grew up watching movies in cinema halls rather than desktop screens and they really enjoy the concept of viewing cinema as an outing experience for the entire family.
