Ramoji’s way of opposing Telangana

Monday, March 8, 2010
All these days, Eenadu group chairman Ramoji Rao has been creating an impression among the people that he is maintaining a diplomatic stand on Telangana.

But with the Telangana heat is spreading all over, Ramoji Rao is gradually coming out in the open against the bifurcation of the state. The classic example for this is the publication of half page article, reproducing the speech of first prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru made on March 5, 1956, at Nizamabad, asking the people of the state to remain united. It clearly indicated the policy of Ramoji Rao.

Sources in Eenadu tell this correspondent that there are going to be more such articles hereafter. It is going to come out with articles that would provide a lot of data to the Seemandhra leaders to submit the reports to the Srikrishna Committee. His reference and research library in Eenadu is going to be a resource centre for the Telugu Desam Party leaders to run down the Telangana demand, sources say.
