The producer of Vijay’s Pokkiri, Ramesh, has lodged a complaintagainst actor Vishal at the Producers’ Council. According to theproducer, he had signed up Vishal to star in Theeratha Vilayattu Pillaiand on his insistence had booked Shriya as his lead pair. However, hecould not commence the film on time and the production was taken overby Vishal’s brother Vikram Krishna.
The complaint against the actor is that he did not return theadvance paid to him and Shriya, even after taking over the productionrights. The issue has been taken up for hearing by the Producers’Council and an amicable settlement is expected soon.
